Mob war!
The long era of peace between US criminal organizations
has abruptly ended after a violent gunfight in downtown Chicago. Officials
now fear that peace can not be achieved without a massive bloodshed. There
have been some speculations that the police have been paid to stay away.
These allegations have not been commented by the authorities.
The fight is most fierce in Chicago. Experts assume
that the mobs do not have resources for a prolonged fight and expect the
fight not to last longer than a week. However, even a short fight is intolerable
and corrodes the social order and justice and therefore will not be tolerated,
says police commissioner of Chicago, who resigned shortly after this statement.
